Interface
Ultimate Bet's interface is fairly decent. The lobby screen is the strongest aspect of the interface overall. It is very easy to navigate around and locate which game you want to play in. In my opinion, the table screen is a great shortcoming on Ultimate Bet. The table screen is fairly weak and lacks customization outside of the background. I believe it'd be stronger with a more solid level of finish and perhaps the implementation of avatars.
Game Variety
For Ultimate Bet being a relatively large poker site I was fairly disappointed in the game selection. The tournaments offered are very expensive relative to the prize pool and there just wasn't a tremendous amount of games offered.
The variety of ring games were the same as just about any website offering the micro limits starting at $0.01/$0.02 and the high stakes games going up to $150/$300.
Ease of Deposit/Withdrawal
Depositing funds into Ultimate Bet is pretty hassle-free and I had no trouble doing so. They offer depositing through credit cards, neteller, firepay, citadel, wire transfer, bank draft and check. The problem here however, was withdrawing funds from your account. They only offer three methods of withdrawal and it takes a moderate amount of time to get your funds.
Security/Stability
Ultimate Bet is a huge poker site and has a lot of players. They are licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and have strong financial backing. There is no reason to doubt the safety of your funds while playing on Ultimate Bet.
Players
Ultimate Bet has some of the most solid players on the internet. The players on Ultimate bet are a lot tighter than players on other sites like Full Tilt or PokerStars. You will run into the usual loose players in the micro limits and in some tournaments but overall Ultimate Bet is a very tight site. If your game is bullying tight players and outplaying solid players than Ultimate Bet is the place to play.
Bad Beats
The boards at Ultimate Bet were no different than any other poker site. The higher frequency of high cards and drawing boards were present a majority of the time but I didn't run into anything that made me think "Wow! That was absolutely ridiculous." I wouldn't worry too much about the beats on UB, they also have a very nifty bad beat jackpot.
Overall
Overall, I believe Ultimate Bet is one of the top poker sites and is great for experienced ring game players. For tournament players, the selection is below average so I may consider a site with more of a selection like Full Tilt or PokerStars however, UB still is a very strong poker site with a lot to offer.
